EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES Job Descriptions: ProShot is the industry leading event photography provider. Our established niche is to provide pictures immediately on-site – Instant Gratification at high traffic events. ProShot currently provides the following services; high profile events, amateur sports, professional sports, non-profit association benefits, corporate and media relations. Given our rapid growth, ProShot is seeking talent to fill a variety of roles. Use of a car, and the ability to speak more than one language, will be considered an assets. You MUST enjoy dealing with the public. If you enjoy flexible hours, going to different locations (indoors and outdoors), and meeting new people, please note the following opportunities: Client Services: Responsibilities include on-site materials set-up; assisting customers to locate their photos; explaining to customers package options and ProShot’s services; completing order forms; processing payment; sales selection reinforcement; ability to multi-task. Cross-training in computer operation will be provided. Opportunities to process ecommerce and telephone orders from head office may be offered. Computer Operators: Responsibilities include on-site equipment set-up; processing customer orders through customized software; assist customers to make selections promptly; sales selection reinforcement; ability to multi-task; comfortable with MicroSoft and Apple/MAC solutions; have a creative eye for colour and photographic processing. All necessary software training will be provided. Cross-training in client services will be offered. Experience in computerized graphic arts considered an asset, and custom border development work, skills permitting. Opportunities to process ecommerce and telephone orders from head office may also be offered. Photographers: Shoot, shoot, shoot. You need to love it in your soul! While shooting for an hour or two can be novel, shooting for 10 hours straight takes dedicated concentration. If you have experience shooting film or digital will be concerned a plus. Training to shoot event photography will be provided. All photography equipment is provided to our photographers by ProShot. All you require is a keen eye and the desire to learn our equipment and approach. Booking Agents: Responsibilities include telephone canvassing for events; and processing communication/introduction kits to interested hosts. Experience in scheduling will be considered an asset, as will the ability to speak more than one language. Strong organizational skills required. Management Positions Business Development and CSR Manager: Responsibilities include building and establishing relationships with key accounts, identifying business opportunities (nationally and internationally), selling photography services as a marketing / branding tool, eCommerce, project management, scheduling, training, workflow planning and deployment. This position is accountable for maintaining ProShot’s competitive advantage in deploying leading edge technology to satisfy client’s needs. Knowledge and experience of event / template photography, graphics, event workflows, costings, software assessment, deployment and configuration of systems is a must.
